Five on Friday (#3)

I'm linking up with some other blogs to share
Five on Friday with the Ferrell boys and me!

[ 1 ]     SOLAR NAILS.

I had a follow-up doctor's appointment for the inside of my lip on Wednesday.  ( The pathology report was good )   I had a couple of hours between my class at EMCC and my appointment, so I decided to get my nails done.  Love them!

The guy who did my nails obviously thought he did a great job on them because he took 8 or 9 pictures of my nails!  That's a first for me!

[ 2 ]     DOLLAR TREE FIND.

After my doctor's appointment, I stopped by Dollar Tree to see what cute $1 stuff they had gotten in since my last time there.  Halloween ice cube trays!  How cute!

I'm going to try making some treats for the boys using these trays and jello.  :)

[ 3 ]     CROCHET FUN.

I love to crochet.  It's so relaxing to me.  I bought some yarn a couple of weeks ago and since then I've been busy making some cute swirly scarves.

Don't you just love the Ferrell boys modeling my scarves?!?

The boys love the scarves.  Shane keeps bugging me to make a scarf for boys and to quit making these girly scarves!  Ha!

The scarf Zach is wearing is my favorite one so far.  I made it last night on the way to the ballgame.

I've worn the blue one that Alex is wearing a couple of times, and I get lots of compliments on it when I do wear it.

I'll be posting a tutorial for making the scarves later next week.  It's so easy to do.

[ 4 ]     Last Pee Wee Viking football game.

We had our last pee wee football game last night.  Here's Zach before the game:

Zach was so sad that football season is over.  He did not have that smile on his face as we drove home.  But the end of pee wee football just means that basketball season is starting!

[ 5 ]     HOMECOMING.

The boys are so excited about Homecoming at their school.  The pee wee football players got to ride on the firetruck during the parade.

Alex got to ride in the passenger seat of the firetruck.

Before the parade, the cheerleaders held a pep rally and the pee wee cheerleaders and the pee wee Viking football team did a dance routine.  Here's a clip of it.  Zach is #00.  Thanks to my friend Becci C. that video-taped the dance.

So there's my Five on Friday!  Hope you've enjoyed this quick look into the past week with . . .
