Beef Roast (I usually get a rump roast)
Cream of Mushroom soup
Pioneer Brown Gravy Mix
Trim fat off of roast. Put roast in crockpot. Season roast with salt, pepper, and onion powder. Mix soup, gravy mix, and soup can of water together. Pour mixture over roast. Cook in crockpot on high 6 - 7 hours. Can cook on low all day. The longer you cook it, the more tender the roast will be.
I always add a can of baby carrots the last 30 minutes and cut it down to the low setting.
Grilled Chicken
1.5 lbs Chicken Tenders
McCormick Grill Mates garlic, herb & wine seasoning pack
Honey Mustard sauce
Mix the marinade according to the package directions. Marinate the chicken tenders in refrigerator for at least 15 minutes. Fire up the grill. I grill my chicken tenders slowly keeping the temperature of the grill at around 300 degrees. I also brush some olive oil or vegetable oil on the grill rack to keep the chicken from sticking to the rack. Grill the chicken 3 to 4 minutes on each side until the chicken is done. Serve with Honey Mustard sauce. We like the Johnny Fleeman's honey mustard salad dressing.
